Some people may question the logic of starting a business in recessionary times but there was only one way for the company to go and decades later we are still going from strength to strength.
We soon started to develop a reputation for honesty and integrity in our target market: the poor credit sector of the car and van finance industry. We pride ourselves on still adhering to those ethics.
Having spent 16 years in our previous offices our continuing success resulted in us moving to new office premises in December 2008. Just as we started trading in a recession we took on new premises during a recession, however the management of the company had no doubt that this was the right thing to do. There is a wealth of industry experience within the company and we all strive to ensure that we maintain the strong work ethic that we are known for and we are proud of.
We have our own approach to the business. We have not followed the route taken by most of our competitors and have avoided the temptation to adopt a credit score system.
We believe in treating our customers as individuals and not as a commodity. As a consequence, each proposal we receive is handled personally by an experienced underwriter and we do not rely on a computer to tell us whether we should grant our customer credit or not.
