I have an agreement with Glenside; how can I make a payment?

If you are an existing customer of ours, but you’re unsure of how to make a payment on your account, you can call a member of our team on 01329 849434, and they will be happy to walk you through the process of making a card payment over the phone, or setting up a direct debit. Alternatively, other methods of payment can be found by visiting our Payment Information page.

Can I pay weekly?

Yes, we are able to offer a weekly hire purchase agreement, payable by direct debit on a day of your choosing.

Do I have to buy a car from you or from a specific dealer?

No, you can choose a vehicle from any reputable dealer in England and Wales.

I've got a poor credit rating, is it worth applying?

Yes! We help those who have been declined for car finance elsewhere and who may have a poor credit rating. We do not run your application through a computerised credit scoring system; we look at your individual circumstances and aim to provide the best car finance solution for you.

What do Glenside finance?

We offer Hire Purchase for cars and Leasing for vans, on new and used vehicles up to 10 years old and up to 100,000 miles previously driven.

I’m self employed, can you provide car finance for me?

Yes, even if you’re self employed we can still offer you a great car finance deal.
We can also offer you finance for a van for your business even if you have a poor credit rating. Give us a call or apply online.

Do you offer no deposit finance?

We will need some deposit, the amount required will depend upon the various factors of an individual deal, these include the customer profile, vehicle age, value and mileage. Part exchanges can also be used as part or full deposit. Minimum 5% deposit required.

Can I settle my agreement early?

Yes, you will get a discount depending on when you settle.

Are you a finance company or a broker?

We are a finance company, not a broker. This means that your application is processed faster so you can drive your new car away as soon as possible and your details will not be passed on to any third parties (other than Credit Reference Agencies – such as Experian). We can discuss your circumstances directly with the underwriters and create a finance package which is affordable for you. We are Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

My credit history is poor, can you help?

Yes! We specialise in helping people with a poor credit history get car finance.

We will find the best solution to suit your circumstances now, rather than basing our decisions on your past poor credit score. Use our online finance calculator to predict your monthly instalments and then apply online.

How can I make a payment on my agreement?

Please read our make a payment page for more details on how to make a payment.

Do you finance vans?

Yes, we finance vans and commercial vehicles on a lease. Please apply online and we will contact you to discuss your requirements.

How long will it take to get a decision once I have applied?

We try to process your car finance application within 2 working hours although sometimes it can take a little longer.

How do I make a complaint?

We are commited to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) principle of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF). We aim to offer the highest level of service to all our customers at all times.
